However, your recommendations, while I'm sure they are good movies, are simply not movies I want to see.

2. We looked. Couldn't find a way to do it.

3. The lights went out, meaning the theater was darkened the way it is when the movie is showing. No house lights were up.

4. These girls were clearly not on a date. Likewise, the person spilling popcorn was an old lady. The point is, people kept getting up and down.

5. The subject of the movie isn't the issue. There are good Batman movies and bad ones. The bad ones execute the subject material poorly, including things that only appeal to base visualization and lack subtlety.

6. We are living in the future. Movies can now be streamed in via satellite -- no more need for movie projectors. I used to have to load a CD into player. Then I had to rip it. Now I can download and move it anywhere. Guess when the last time I bought a CD was.

My point was that my home gives me a much better experience than a movie theater. That's why I only see 2 or so movies per year. And if theaters are going to stay competitive, they need to realize that.theWallflowerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02986917144393617528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38870075.post-42536151273628536022012-04-09T19:26:21.867-05:002012-04-09T19:26:21.867-05:001."Today's movies are simply-godawful&quo...1."Today's movies are simply-godawful"

If you are taking Twilight, Puss in Boots and John Carter as your sample category for 'today's movies' then sure, perhaps they are awful. I recommend you actually go and see more than two movies a year in the theater however, before you judge that. 3 from 2011 I would recommend would be Drive, Shame and We Need to talk about Kevin.

2."I had to get tickets early"

Buy them online

3. "for some reason the lights were out, so we had to struggle to find a seat"

Of course the lights were out. Define struggle. Because if it was really a struggle, then I worry.

4." It's not like this is a date, people." You went to go see The Hunger Games, the perfect tweenage date movie out now.

5."I hope studios see the Hunger Games and realize that giant fighting robots and alien turtles don't translate to a top-grossing movie"

Unfortunately for you, these things clearly do translate to a top-grossing movie, and studios have realised that. However, you shouldn't mind as you are excited going to see a film later this year about a man who dresses up as a bat to beat up equivalently costumed villians.

6. "Now i get annoyed when i have to search for a physical DVD or what i want isn't on Netflix Instant Streaming."

Sometimes i get annoyed as well when I have to get up to go to the toilet, but hey sometimes i shit my pants.

I'm not quite sure you've figured out movies yet my friend.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
